The present invention provides a novel composition of seismic resistant composite concrete with higher energy absorption. The seismic resistant composite concrete comprises recyclate material 101, cement 102a, sand/gravel 102b, water 102c, additives 103 and coating material. The invention provides methods of coating the fibers in recyclate material, to prevent the fiber from degrading and thereby improving ductility.
