METHOD FOR FAULT DETECTION USING FAULT TREE MODEL IN AN INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION SYSTEM

摘要

The proposed invention provides a method for fault detection in an industrial automation system using dynamic fault tree model, the fault tree getting updated based on the network topology. This fault tree is then used to perform an offline analysis on the communication flow, whereby reduced snapshots of the error event are used in recreated structure and flow to finally arrive at root cause found result.
