ABSTRACT A system comprising, a first set of sensors and a second set of sensors mounted at plurality of points in an automobile, in that the first set of sensors providing plurality of first sensor data and the second set of sensors providing plurality of second sensor data, wherein the first set of sensor data are homogenous and the second set of sensors data are heterogeneous, a first module processes first set of sensor data to form a first data, a change detection unit coupled with a threshold unit such that the change detection unit compares the first data and second sensor data with a predefined threshold value, a second module processes the first data and the second sensor data to form a fused data and a crash detection unit incorporated with an airbag deployment unit such that the airbag deployment unit deploy an air bag corresponding to the fused data.
