TIO2 TITANIUM DIOXIDE AND GRAPHENE OXIDE COMPOSITE SOLAR CELL.

摘要

Abstract: Proposed a solar cell design uses the combination of titanium dioxide (TiO2) and Graphene oxide as an active photon absorbing materials. TiO2 absorbs photons of nearly ultraviolet wavelengths to produce electron-hole pairs, while Graphene oxide is expected to absorb photons of visible light. Copper bridges imparted in between TiO2 and Graphene Oxide reduces the probability of recombination. Incorporation of Graphene oxide results in improved conversion efficiency. LiOH along with PVA imparts stability to the proposed structure. Proposed solar cell structure is promising for mass application, especially in low-income settings, owing to its easy and flexible fabrication, and easy large- scale application.
