ABSTRACT METHOD FOR CHARGING FILLERS IN PLATE REACTOR AND PROCESS FOR REACTION IN HEAT- TRANSFER PLATE REACTOR. Provided is a reaction method capable of suppressing both a rise in a differential pressure at a reactor due to the inflow of a large amount of gas and a drop in the yield of a product. Also provided is a method capable of charging a granular filler into the clearances between the heat transfer plates of a plate type reactor. The reactor which can remove and add heat by exchanging heat with a catalytic layer that causes the fed raw gas to react, wherein a differential pressure at the reactor, which is determined from air at room temperature in the absence of the catalytic layer, is 50 Pa or less, and a plurality of reaction zones are formed in the catalytic layer due to the voidage of the catalytic layer that decreases with distance from the entrance toward the exit of the raw gas.
