This invention provides an endotracheal tube with a controlled pressure cuff. The invention includes a tracheal tube assembly and a portable device. The portable device is used for managing the operations and demonstrating the results of the operations performed by the tracheal tube assembly. Further, the tracheal tube assembly includes a pressure sensing unit for measuring a pressure of a cuff of an endotracheal tube, a diaphragm pump unit for inflating the cuff of the endotracheal tube under a controlled mechanism, an electronic pressure release valve for deflating the cuff of the endotracheal tube under a controlled mechanism, an emergency pressure release valve for deflating the cuff in the event of failure of the controlled mechanism and a microcontroller to implement the controlled mechanism.
