ISOLATION PROMISOR FOR THE MECHANISM OF A CIRCUIT BREAKER

The present disclosure provides a contact isolation promising system to provide an undefeatable indication against true position of welded contacts for a switching device. The contact isolation promising system includes an isolation promiser component, having a first end and a second end, mechanically coupled with a fork link at first end and coupled with a drive shaft pin associated with a drive shaft at second end. The second end of said isolation promiser component includes an elongated slot/profile which is adapted receive said drive shaft pin and restrict movement of said drive shaft between said elongated slot/profile to provide an accurate contact position indication thereby achieving a positive isolation to a user during occurrence of a fault associated with contact welding.
