The present invention discloses a hybrid directional radio-frequency coupler or radio-frequency combiner/splitter system for coupling parallel sections of strip-lines transformed to coaxial transmission lines. The combiner/splitter system basically comprises a pair of strip-lines confined within coupling region, being parallel to each other with uniform gap and having end regions which are angularly diverging near ends of the coupling region to connect with the coaxial transmission lines ensuring uniform strip-line to coaxial transition.
