The embodiments of the present invention relate to topical liposomal gel of Biochanin A and a method of synthesizing the same. The liposomal gel is used in skin related diseases. The method involves the steps of preparing an oil phase of Biochanin A, an aqueous phase, mixing the aqueous phase in the oil phase and adding a chitosan gel to obtain the liposomal gel of Biochanin A.
