A NOVEL APPROACH IN SOLAR WATER HEATER INLET HEADER TO IMPROVE UNIFORM FLOW DISTRIBUTION IN VERTICAL TUBES

The ultimate aim of the invention is to provide an equal distribution in the heat transfer tubes from the header. The inventions consist of two headers inlet and outlet, and heat transfer tubes connected between these headers, it is used in solar water heater for the purpose of heating water. Header in the conventional water heater will not provide an equal discharge in all verttcal pipes. Hence, the water will not be homogeneously.heated in all pipes because of this unequal distribution Performance and efficiency of the solar water heater will be reduced. The discharge can be normalized by using various methods that cannot be perfectly produced equal discharge in all vertical pipes. Hence in this invention we are having a new method of header with diffuser. In this method at the junction point of inlet header and tubes we are providing a diffuser which will normalize the flow conditions. Diffuser is an object which have a shape of cylinder, the object consists of both inner and outer diameters. The diffuser size will be varying for each tubes depends upon its flow distribution.
