ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION The solar thermal energy collection device named as Rotatable Fresnel lens ˜concentrating sunlight on absorber™ placed on base frame supporting Fresnel lens� is a most economical and simplest possible form of Solar cookers utilizing Fresnel lens for solar thermal energy collection device. This present invention relates to Physical sciences. The said device comprises of following components. 1) A Fresnel lens type sunlight concentrator made of highly transparent glass or any other suitable highly transparent material such that it is capable of concentrating sunlight at distance equal to its focal length towards bottom side. 2) A frame for holding and supporting said Fresnel type sunlight concentrator. 3) A vertical frame provided to support said Fresnel lens™s holding frame. 4) A ˜shaft or shaft like means™ connected rigidly to said vertical frame (such that longitudinal axis of said shaft) at right angle to middle vertical plane of said vertical frame� to cause controlled rotation of said vertical frame so as to do orientation of said Fresnel lens. 5) Pedestal bearings, or any other suitable bearings, or closely circumscribing short length circular pipes provided to hold said shaft™s either side outer ends in frictionless rotatable manner. 6) A big framed structure provided ˜for supporting pedestal bearings to hold shaft of said vertical frame™ along with all components supported by said vertical frame™, and also to support said solar energy absorber™s holding frame, and said ˜framed structure™ is fitted with wheels capable of allowing ˜forward and backward movement™ and also ˜rotation of said framed structure ™. 7) ˜Means for orientation of said Fresnel lens™ towards the Sun, for ensuring incidence of concentrated sunlight on said solar energy absorber 8) ˜Sunlight reflective means™ made of good quality and highly reflective mirror which is either a mirror polished metallic sheet or any other suitable means. 9) A ˜solar energy absorber™ provided to serve the purpose of absorbing most of energy of sunlight incident on it, and it is held or housed in said ˜means for holding solar thermal energy absorber™.
