The invention provides a method and system for scheduling of processes on plurality of processors. Further, the invention provides a method and system for rapid, optimal and feasible process scheduling on parallel and dissimilar processors with the schedule generation methods implemented on multi-core processors. The invention further provides a method and system for rapid, optimal and feasible process scheduling on parallel and dissimilar processors using domain-specific heuristics and domain independent meta-heuristics.
