The present invention relates to a natural fungicide from the aqueous crude extract of leaves of Foetida Passiflora, its method for obtaining the same and its use for inhibiting the mycelial growth of spores of the Mycosphaerella Fijiensis pathogen, which is known to cause the disease called black Sigatoka, mainly in plantain and bananas. The obtainment method consists of the processing of the collected leaves of Foetida Passiflora, its aqueous extraction by mixing the vegetable material with water and separating the solid waste by various centrifugation and sterilization steps by filtration.
