The present invention relates to a novel process for the removal of impurities carried by local wastewater, and from waters with a high content in organic matter, living or food waste. The present invention aims to provide an advantage for the treatment of high organic content waters, without the need to separate it from the water wherein is contained. The process consists of a water treatment with higher performance than the current processes, thus achieving to lower the COD and BOD parameters, the percentage of residual organic matter in the water and the operating costs, being lower than the current techniques. The process characterizes by set series of an anaerobic process followed by an aerobic process.
