The present disclosure is related to a process for obtaining cellulose from the Amaryllidaceae family plants shell (garlic, white onion, purple onion), with the object of making use of the organic waste that is generated day by day, subjecting them to chemical and sustainable processes to obtain cellulose with the necessary properties for the manufacturing of packaging boxes, sheets of paper, etc.; in such a way, that an alternative is proposed to leave behind conventional cellulose sources and thus avoiding the ecological imbalance that is generated by the excessive exploitation of said resources.
