The present disclosure is related to a hexagonal geometry solar receiver formed by two plates that have stepped geometries with each other so that once the plates are welded; gutters are created through which a thermo-carrier fluid circulates. The receiver is designed to withstand the typical pressures of power cycles that transform mechanical energy into electricity, besides being able of working with thermo-carrier fluids in gaseous or liquid state. Inside the gutters, the device has spirals that direct the thermo-carrier fluid and increase the contact area to improve heat transmission. One of the preferred uses of the present invention is as a receiver of a central tower heliostat field, although the same also has applications to other forms of energy concentration.
