The present disclosure is related to a new process to obtain a bilayer material, biodegradable by compost or in the environment in which a poly (lactic acid) film is used, PLA, and another enameled or matte cellulose film. The two layers do not require an additional adhesive material to bond with each other, the process to obtain the same requires the extrusion of the PLA film to obtain the same amorphous and flexible, without suffering crystallization or tear, remaining with a thickness between 20 and 80 um. The process is based on the design of an extrusion dice capable of maintaining the constant PLA flow with temperature variations in its path and at the end, with a gradual cooling system preventing the crystallization of the film that is in formation; then, its passage through the rollers to apply pressure and promote adhesion by anchoring to a cellulose film. Finally, the bilayer of PLA and cellulose suitable for use as food packaging is formed.
