The method for providing an online communication platform for a targeted community of people, comprises the steps of: a.) choosing a community of people h.) identifying a product accessed by said community of people, said product comprising one or more product units; c.) providing a product identifier on said product units; d.) providing an online communication platform, wherein the online communication platform is accessed by reading the product identifier using a suitable device or entering the product identifier manually into a suitable piece of software; and wherein the product identifier is the only way for a user to access the online communication platform.
