The present invention relates to a beam to column connection for rigid frames based on bracket and moment plate, used in the structural field for building with a frame system of different materials (steel, wood, etc.). Said connection consists of two main parts, a moment plate, and a bracket-based support, both attached to a backing plate fixed to the wall of the column element. It offers a rigid connection behavior possessing resistance to axial, shear and moment components, thereby restricting the rotation between main structural elements. The present invention is also functional during an inversion of moments caused by accidental loads of wind or earthquakes; its installation is simple and prevents the formation of plastic hinges near the nodes.
