Didactic equipment for refrigeration by adsorption activated by solar or electric energy, using two substances, one adsorbent and the other adsorbate, the system will use ethylic alcohol as adsorbate (refrigerant substance) and activated coal as adsorbent. The main parts of the prototype comprise the following elements: a condenser, an evaporator, an adsorber, a solar collector and an electric jacket as a power source; all said elements are built in a stainless steel sheet (SS316) and are connected with stainless steel pipes for high vacuum and fittings, such as valves, connectors and pressure and temperature indicators, which are components of the measurement system for monitoring data and evaluating the operation of the prototype, and particularly for keeping a record of the parameters of temperature, flow, volume and pressure of the refrigerant. The invention also describes the installation of the adsorber and the receiver made of glass for determining the flow of the refrigerant l iquid.
