The composition has a cross-linked polymer having a number-average molecular weight of greater than 1000 gram per molecule (g/mol) and including alcohol groups according to a weight fraction in the composition of between 3 and 10 percent. Another polymer of an acid having a number-average molecular weight of greater than 500 g/mol is provided according to a weight fraction in the composition of between 0.3 and 3 percent, where the former polymer is cross-linked thermally in the presence of the latter polymer. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing an electrode (2) a supercapacitor cell.
