RFID TAG AND METHOD FOR SAFEGUARDING AN RFID TAG

An RFID tag for a product is proposed that has an RFID chip for processing data, an antenna for transmitting the data and a security means. The security means is set up to destroy the RFID chip in the event of predetermined use of the product. Therefore, the RFID tag is reliably protected against illegal further use. In addition, a product having such an RFID tag and also a method for safeguarding an RFID tag against inadmissible use of the RFID tag are proposed.
