THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO A METHOD FOR USE IN IN ANALYSIS OF INTERACTION BETWEEN DRIFTING PLASMA WAVES IN TWO DIMENSIONAL ELECTRON GAS (2DEG) IN SEMICONDUCTORS AND ELECTROMAGNETIC HARMONIC WAVES, WHEREBY THE MAIN STEPS COMPRISING DETERMINING THE DEVICE STRUCTURE AND THE ADMITTANCE OF THE INTERDIGITAL SLOW WAVE STRUCTURE; ANALYZING THE SPACE HARMONICS PROPAGATING THROUGH THE INTERDIGITAL SLOW-WAVE STRUCTURES, SAID ANALYZING COMPRISING OBTAINING THE POTENTIAL DISTRIBUTION OF PERIODIC STRUCTURE; SOLVING THE INTEGRAL EQUATIONS WHICH ARE USED IN DETERMINING THE ADMITTANCE OF INTERDIGITAL SLOW STRUCTURE; AND CALCULATING THE ADMITTANCE OF THE INTERDIGITAL DEVICE, THEREBY OBTAINING NEGATIVE CONDUCTANCE. IT IS FOUND THAT THE VALUE OF NEGATIVE CONDUCTANCE INCREASES WITH INCREASE OF FREQUENCY AND REDUCTION OF THE ALGAAS THICKNESS.
