This utility model discloses the process of producing the sweet, yet healthy pastillass from turmeric (Curcuma longa) and calamansi (Citrofortunella microcarpa). It is usually consumed as a desert, or an alternative to a healthy snack. Composition includes honey, powdered milk, calamansi extract, boiled turmeric ginger and refined sugar (for coating). Process include: preparing all the needed ingredients; placing 2 cups of sifted powdered milk into a plain plate then set aside; combining the 65 ml Honey, 15 ml calamansi extract and 15 ml boiled turmeric ginger; mixing until it is well blended, combining the mixture and powdered milk; mixing and blending evenly until it smoothens; setting aside for 10- 15 minutes; shaping the mixture into balls; rolling in refined sugar for coating; and wrapping the pastillass with water cellophane. Making boiled turmeric ginger comprise of the following steps: peeling th 1/8 kg turmeric ginger and mincing it; placing the peeled ginger in a cauldron with 50 ml water; boiling it on a low heat fire for 20-25 minutes; transferring the boiled turmeric ginger into the bowl using a strainer; and making sure not to include the turmeric particles.
