Method and system for optimizing a news release for distributionAbstractA computer implemented system for news release editing and distribution. The system processes documents from a media database in order to construct a database with word and phrase frequency information. An analysis module uses the frequency information to provide the user with information regarding their news releases relation with previously published material. Given this new information the user can adjust their message to better relate to recent events. In the next step of the process the news release is submitted to a probabilistic classifier in order to generate a list of recipients/journalists ordered in accordance with their relevance to the news release.
