A device is described for transporting plastic cards, comprising a fixed part, a rotary part (11), advancement means (12) to advance a plastic card (30) in the rotary part (11) and card detecting means (15) to detect the presence of the card (30) inside the rotary part (11) to guarantee its correct positioning, and a radiofrequency wireless communication system to transmit information from the card detecting means (15) to a first microcontroller (42) assembled on the fixed part. A card treating device comprising the transporting device and a radiofrequency modulation/demodulation process used by a modulator (54) of the device are further described.
