ANTHROPOMETRIC DEVICE, PROCEDURE AND COMPUTER SYSTEM FOR THE SELECTION OF A PERSONALIZED MATTRESS

An anthropometric device (100) for the selection of a custom mattress comprises at least one transverse longilinear pressure sensor, at the shoulder or hip of a reclining user, and an electronic component (20) for measuring the voltage of the electrical signals produced by said sensors under the weight of the lying user, in order to record said measurements and processed in order to select a mattress appropriate for the user's height and mass distribution. A method for such selection comprises the step of selecting the density of the custom mattress according to the level of the signals coming from the sensors. A computer system comprises a memory and a processor and contains instructions stored in the memory and executable by the processor that include a functionality to execute said procedure.
