A paste for a thick film comprising a glass portion and a portion of a conductive metal, wherein said conductive metal portion comprises: a. 10 to 99 wt% silver and b. 1 to 90% by weight of a nickel alloy selected from the group consisting of an alloy of níquelaluminio, a nickel-chromium alloy níquelaluminio-chromium and combinations thereof.
