The invention relates to a method for producing an encryption system having a public key and a digital signature with polynomials of few variables, based on vector exponentiation. In the field of public key cryptography, there is a growing interest in developing encryption that is secure against current attacks and also against attacks from future quantum computers. The present invention describes a novel multivariate public key cryptosystem (MPKC) that uses a novel method for building the central reversible applications, which can be used to obtain a public key with polynomials of very few variables, thereby guaranteeing high efficiency and speed in encryption, decryption and digital signature processes.
