Storage and order preparation system (10) for storing and desalmacenar a multiplicity of warehouse goods, in which, during sequenced storage, the warehouse goods must arrive in a desired order at a destination point and in which , during storage, the warehouse goods are distributed as homogeneously as possible in shelves, with: an arrangement of shelves (14) arranged in a static way, presenting a multiplicity of shelves (16), presenting the shelves (16) respectively a multiplicity of shelving positions (R) arranged one above and next to each other, in which the warehouse goods can be stored and desalmacenar, defining the shelves (16) at least one aisle of shelves (18) among themselves; a multiplicity of vertical conveyors arranged statically, several of the vertical conveyors (20) being arranged respectively, for a coupling of the shelf aisles (18) in terms of material flow, or laterally on the longitudinal sides of the shelves (16) corresponding, or, within the corresponding shelves (16), and transporting the vertical conveyors (20) the warehouse goods substantially vertically; a multiplicity of transfer posts (T) which, for a decoupling in terms of material flow, are arranged between the vertical conveyors (20) and the stacker cranes (22) in the rack arrangement (14), being assigned to each of the vertical conveyors (20) at least one of the transfer stations (T); and a multiplicity of stacker cranes (22) that can preferably travel substantially only in the aisles of shelves (18), preferably on rails, storing and de-storageing the stacker cranes (22) the warehouse goods transporting them substantially horizontally along the aisles of shelves (18); the storage and order preparation system being characterized by: a plane of means of transport (24), which is substantially free of barriers, especially free of shelving positions (R); extending horizontally below, above or through the shelf arrangement (14); which in terms of transport technique is coupled to the arrangement of shelves (14) through vertical conveyors (20) that arrive vertically from the arrangement of shelves (14) to the plane of transport means (24), being assigned at each of the vertical conveyors (20) at least one delivery post (Ü) in the plane of means of transport (24); which has a multiplicity of starting / destination points, each of the vertical conveyors (20) being able to be coupled, respectively, through several different short travel paths (40), to each of the starting / destination points; and which has a base surface (26) having a topology (60) formed by a multiplicity of waypoints (44) and segments (46); presenting a multiplicity of transport vehicles without a driver, autonomous FTF (28) that move in a guided way along the segments (46); and a material flow computer (MFR) that has access to the topology (60) and is designed to create and issue transport orders weighted in sequence and distribution, to transport the warehouse goods between the shelving stations (R) and the points of departure / destination, the transport orders presenting respectively a travel route (40) that constitutes segments (46) linked, in the plane of means of transport (24), along which the warehouse goods they move according to the objective between the delivery points (Ü) and the departure / destination points, by means of autonomous FTF driver transport vehicles (27), communicating each of the segments (46) one of the points of route (44) with another of the route points (44).
