Perforated painter masking tape

A tape (10) for masking a surface that must be protected from a liquid, which has a length (1) and a width (w), comprising an adhesive side (14) at least partially coated with an adhesive that adheres so removable to the surface; a non-adhesive side (15), opposite the adhesive side, coated with a liquid impermeable coating; and perforations (13) extending from the adhesive side to the non-adhesive side, characterized in that the perforations are impervious to the liquid and can be broken preferentially, where the perforations become impervious to the liquid by covering the perforations with impervious pieces of tape to the liquids (16) or by the presence of a flange covering the perforations.
