Mechanism (1), comprising: - a support (2) that includes a base (3), a rocker (4) suspended at the base (3) and suspension cranks (5) articulated at the base (3) and on the rocker (4); - a first rotating sprocket (12) moving (R1) relative to the support (2) around a first axle (A1); - a second cogwheel (22) movable in rotation (R2) relative to the support (2) around a second axle (A2); - a first eccentric element (14) fixed in rotation (R1) with the first cogwheel (12) and generating a first moment (M1) of gravitational force (P1) around the first axis (A1); - a second eccentric element (24) fixed in rotation (R2) with the second gearwheel (22) and generating a second moment (M2) of gravitational force (P2) around the second axis (A2); and - a connecting rod (60; 160) that includes a rotating head (62) mounted with pivot connection in a first shaft and an eccentric head (63) mounted with eccentric pivot connection in a second shaft; in which: - the axes (A1; A2) are parallel in a horizontal or vertical reference plane (P0); and - the rocker (4) supports the axles (A1; A2) of the sprockets (12; 22) and the eccentric elements (14; 24); - the suspension rods (5) are inclined at an angle between 45 degrees and 80 degrees with respect to a vertical plane; - for the connecting rod (60; 160), the first shaft is either a shaft (11; 21) that supports one of the sprockets (12; 22), or a shaft (53) fixed on the base ( 3), while the second tree is the other tree between the tree (11; 21) that supports one of the sprockets (12; 22) and the tree (53) fixed on the base (3); - the sprockets (12; 22) engage each other with a unit transmission ratio and are mobile in rotation (R1; R2) in opposite directions; - when the mechanism (1) is in operation, the eccentric elements (14; 24) describe an elliptical movement, while the rocker (4) describes an oscillating movement having a vertical component and a horizontal component; - the moments (M1; M2) of gravitational force (P1; P2) of the eccentric elements (14; 24) have the same value and the same direction, variable according to their angular position around the axes (A1; A2); - for each angular position of the sprockets (12; 22) and the eccentric elements (14; 24) around the axles (A1; A2), the mechanism (1) has an equilibrium configuration at rest.
