A shaft structure (20) to be installed on a shaft capable of performing power transmission, the shaft structure (20) comprising: a metallic male component (21) having a plurality of grooves males (21d) formed in a outer peripheral part (21c) thereof; a metal female component (22) having a plurality of female splines (22b) formed on an inner peripheral portion (22a) thereof, the inner peripheral portion (22a) configured to allow the outer peripheral portion (21c) of the male component (21) engages therein so that the male component (21) and the female component (22) can fit slidably, each relative to the other in an axial direction thus forming said shaft structure (20); and an element cylindrically shaped having an inner surface substantially equal to the outer peripheral portion (21c) of the male component (21) and an outer surface substantially equal to the inner peripheral portion (22a) of the female component (22) , element comprising cylindrically shaped cloth (23) impregnated with rubber or resin and interposed between the outer peripheral portion (21c) of the male component (21) and the inner peripheral portion (22a) of the female component (22).
