Base compounds including 1,3-oxazinan-6-one having the structure(see above formula)where R is a linear or branched alkyl chain of 6 to 18 carbons, a linear orbranched chainalkenyl of 8 to 20 carbons or aromatic cycloalkyl having 5 to 12 carbons, R1is a radicalselected from the group consisting of H and -CH3 and R2, is a radical selectedfrom thegroup consisting of H and CH3 are disclosed. Compounds are corrosioninhibitors withmultifunctional properties serving as inhibitory/dispersants of asphaltene inproductionprocesses, transportation, refining and storage of crude oil and derivatives.
