A product assistant device may attach to a shopping cart or other baggage cartand provideinformation and guidance on products within a retail space. The assistantdevice may providephysiological information from sensors such as heart rate, blood pressure, orother non-invasivelymeasured characteristics via a display. As the device moves through a retailspace itmay wirelessly communicate with beacons placed around the retail space inorder to providelocation specific information on products that may be nearby. Information mayinclude pictures,health impact, selection guides, recipes, and directions to other locationswithin the retail spacewhere other products and beacons may be located. Using such a system, a numberof beaconsand corresponding information displays may be used to guide a shopper throughthe store andintroduce them to healthier food choices.
