A server (20) obtains indicators for a set of callable users who are in contacts of a calling user. The indicator (Gij) for a callable user (i) is a function of an information item dependent on the time (di) on the availability of the callable user, and of a score (Dij) allocated to the calling user (j) by the callable user. The server (20) transmits to a communication terminal (10) at the disposal of the calling user, data to be processed for integration into an interface for issuing a communication request presentable on the terminal. The transmitted data are dependent on the indicators obtained for the set of callable users and allow the calling user to take note of which talker is most apt to respond to his request
