A system that supports addiction recovery of individuals includes a number of supporter personal communication devices, a number of individual personal communication devices, at least one communications network, and at least one recovery server. The recovery server can have at least one database stored on respective nontransitory computer- or processor-readable media. The recovery server permits interaction between the supporter personal communication devices and individual personal communication devices while maintaining accountability of entities logically associated with such devices and while addressing a plurality of technical problems that one of ordinary skill in the art can face when implementing the system that supports addiction recovery.
