The invention relates to a method for constructing an analysis data set, to a method for optimizing a motor control, and to a method for operating an arrangement of a test stand having a test piece, wherein the analysis data set is suited or set up to optimize the motor control of an internal combustion engine on a test stand taking into account motor and emission data recorded during practical or in virtual operation, comprising the following steps: constructing or providing an RDE data set of a test piece; detecting or determining weighting factors for sub-weighting or masking out emission data of the RDE data set that were recorded under operating conditions of the test piece, which deviate from predetermined operating conditions of the test piece; and forming the analysis data set by weighting the emission data by means of the weighting factors, and by assigning the weighted emission data to corresponding value pairs from the rotational speed and the torque of the RDE data set.
