In response to a first user operation, a connection reception state is activated in a controller (100) for forming a wireless home network (20) with a plurality of client devices (30). In response to a second user operation, each client device (30) outputs a request signal for connection configuration to the wireless home network (20). If the controller (100) receives a request signal while in the connection reception state, the controller (100) performs connection configuration with the client device (30) that outputted the request signal. The controller (100) is structured such that, until a prescribed transition condition is established, even if the connection configuration with one client device (30) ends, the controller (100) will initiate renewed connection reception without transitioning to a connection-impossible state that makes reception of a request signal impossible. The transition condition is stipulated such that connection configuration of a client device (30) can be performed multiple times.
