The invention relates to a hazard detector for an evaluation unit (12, 14), e.g. a fire detector- and/or extinguishing control panel (12). The hazard detector (10) comprises a housing (16), with at least one sensor unit (22) or a sensor interface for connecting the sensor unit (22) for detecting a hazard parameter. The hazard detector (10) also comprises a first electronic assembly (26), electrically connected to the sensor unit (22) or the sensor interface, for processing sensor signals from the sensor unit (22) and a second electronic assembly (30), which is connected to at least one first interface (38) for electrically connecting the second electronic assembly (30) to a remote evaluation unit (12, 14).
