PRODUCT FOR TREATING PLANTS AND COMBATING CERTAIN PESTS, IN PARTICULAR APHIDS, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME

The product forming the subject matter of the invention contains at least one inhibiting substance identical to that which pests, in particular aphids, inject into the host plant in order to inhibit the natural defences of said plant. In said product, this substance is inactivated either by heating or by a chemical means. When the plant receives the product by spraying, injection or soaking, it triggers or develops natural defences that enable it to eliminate said pests within a few days. The introduction of the inactivated inhibiting substance into the plant can be likened to a kind of vaccination with inactivated germs for a vertebrate. Since there are various inhibiting substances, in inactivated form they can be present in a same product for treating plants. Whether in the form of a product ready for use or a product for dilution from a dry/liquid product or in gel form, the product forming the subject matter of the invention can be of great assistance to professional farmers, gardeners and managers of cultivated or wild green spaces, by combating the destructive effects of certain pests caused by the direct action of same and the spreading of diseases from a diseased plant to a healthy plant.
