A novel transgenic corn elite event designated MZHG0JG is disclosed. The invention relates to nucleic acid sequences of the recombinant constructs inserted into the corn genome and to the genomic sequences flanking the insertion site, which resulted in the elite event MZHG0JG that comprises nucleic acid molecules containing novel nucleic acid sequences. The invention further relates to assays for detecting the presence of the novel nucleic acid sequences of elite event MZHG0JG, to corn plants and corn seeds comprising the genotype thereof, and to methods for producing a corn plant by crossing a corn plant comprising the elite event MZHG0JG genotype with itself or another corn variety.
