A regional correction-based method for improving positioning accuracy in a satellite-based augmentation system, comprising: dividing a region to be observed into a plurality of observation regions, and configuring a plurality of observation stations in each observation region (S1); acquiring residual data of each observation station by processing observation data (S3); acquiring clock difference mean value data of each observation station according to the observation residual data (S4); acquiring ambiguity reduction value data of each observation region according to the residual data (S5); acquiring regional correction value data of each observation region according to the residual data and the ambiguity reduction value data (S6); and providing a user with a regional correction value data calling service by means of a network or a satellite link (S7). The regional correction-based method for improving positioning accuracy in a satellite-based augmentation system carries out wide-range region configuration by means of the observation stations, and calculates the regional correction values for use in network and satellite-based broadcasts on the basis of the observation stations. The method refines error correction in user positioning, thereby improving the accuracy of user positioning; the method also has the advantages of having high accuracy and a wide application range.
