A WIFI hotspot information modification method and device. The method comprises: upon detecting that hotspot information of a WIFI hotspot in a wireless local area network has been modified, determining, according to a preconfigured terminal apparatus list of the WIFI hotspot, a target terminal apparatus, wherein the hotspot information comprises a service set identifier (SSID) of the WIFI hotspot and a password corresponding to the SSID; pushing, to the target terminal apparatus, the modified hotspot information. The technical solution of the invention resolves a problem in which after an SSID or password of a WIFI hotspot is modified, an apparatus other than the host can only access the hotspot by a user manually scanning and entering a password.
