The present invention relates to the technical field of storage. An embodiment of the present invention provides a method, device and system for controlling an IO bandwidth and processing an IO access request, the IO bandwidth being allocated in a more flexible way. The method for controlling an IO bandwidth is applied to a distributed file system comprising a name node and at least one data node. The method comprises: the name node determining an IO bandwidth of each data node of the at least one data node and an IO bandwidth of a first tenant; and the name node instructing, on the basis of the IO bandwidth of each data node of the at least one data node and the IO bandwidth of the first tenant, the at least one data node to allocate at least one IO bandwidth to the first tenant, wherein the at least one IO bandwidth is in one-to-one correspondence with the at least one data node, and each of the IO bandwidths of the at least one IO bandwidth is greater than 0 and less than or equal to the IO bandwidth of a corresponding data node.
