A septuple-element wide-angle lens comprising in series from an object side to an image side: a first lens (L1) having negative refractive power; a second lens (L2) having negative refractive power; a third lens (L3) having refractive power; a fourth lens (L4) having positive refractive power; a fifth lens (L5) having refractive power; a sixth lens (L6) having refractive power; and a seventh lens (L7) having refractive power; and satisfying the following relationships: 0.06 CT3/TTL 0.15 and -0.7 f6/f7 -0.2, where CT3 is the center thickness of the third lens (L3) on the optical axis, TTL is the on-axis distance of the first lens (L1) from an object side surface (S1) to an imaging surface, f6 is the effective focus of the sixth lens (L6), and f7 is the effective focus of the seventh lens (L7). By means of the rational combination of the seven lens, a large viewing angle can be acquired, at the same time as high resolution and high imaging quality are ensured, miniaturized design and great craftsmanship are implemented.
