The invention relates to a method for automated authentication of a person by a data processing system and to a corresponding data processing system, having a detection step, in which the data processing system detects the input of data by the person to be authenticated by means of a data detection unit, an identification step, in which a biometric input behavior of the person to be authenticated is identified by the data processing system, upon input of data, according to input behavior parameters, and an analysis step, in which the data processing system analyzes whether the input behavior identified in the identification step allows the authentication of a person, wherein, in the detection step, the data processing system prompts the person to be authenticated to input at least one hybrid text, which is variably comprised of a plurality of specified components, wherein, in the analysis step, the data processing system uses at least two different analysis methods to allocate the input behavior of a person identified in the identification step to a person, and the at least two different analysis methods are formed by a defined text analysis and a free text analysis, wherein the hybrid text is analyzed by the defined text analysis and the free text analysis alike.
