Disclosed are a risk identification method, a risk identification apparatus, and a cloud risk identification apparatus and system. The method comprises: upon acquisition of service data, a terminal device performing, according to a stored risk identification rule, risk identification on a service processing request generating the service data; and if a risk identification result cannot be determined, trigging a cloud risk identification device to perform risk identification on the service processing request generating the service data. Provided in an embodiment of the invention is a distributed risk identification framework capable of effectively preventing a problem in the prior art in which a risk server takes longer time to process received data and results in lower risk control efficiency. The invention adopts multi-level risk identification, such that operation load of a risk server and system resource overheads can be reduced. Moreover, performing risk identification on a terminal device can reduce time required for risk identification, thereby improving user experience.
