[Problem] Conventionally, it has been difficult to acquire a suitable digest video from a video. [Solution] Provided is a digest video acquisition device, comprising: a change information acquisition unit which acquires inter-frame change information which is information which indicates a change among two or more frames from among two or more frames which configure a video; a partial video acquisition unit which, using the inter-frame change information, acquires one or more partial videos which are portions of the video; and an accumulation unit which accumulates a digest video which includes one or more of the partial videos which the partial video acquisition unit has acquired. It is thus possible to acquire a suitable digest video from a video.
