A data acquisition method executed during switching touch of a mobile phone and a touch control system. The method comprises: reading sliding traces on a mobile phone screen within a specific time period (S101); collecting statistics on a distribution condition of the sliding traces on the mobile phone screen in left and right areas of the mobile phone screen (S102); determining whether the number of sliding traces in the left area on the mobile phone screen is greater than the number of sliding traces in the right area on the mobile phone screen (S103); if so, switching to a left-hand touch-control mode of the mobile phone and sending technical usage data to a data acquisition end (S104); and if not, switching to a right-hand touch-control mode of the mobile phone and sending technical usage data to a data acquisition end (S105). By means of collecting statistics on a user's sliding traces in the left and right areas on a mobile phone screen, a left/right-hand phone operating habit is determined; according to the operating habit, a system automatically switches a mobile phone touch control mode, so as to facilitate the user's one-handed operation of the mobile phone, improve the mobile phone usage experience of the user, and facilitate a manufacturer in collecting the use condition of the technique.
